My Artistic Tessalation

This is a tessalation we did with our teacher it was a fast project but it was also fun. :)

My Creative Name

This was a fast Name I did when I was doing Creative with Mrs Tito it was fun having to go through all the letters to spell our name it was kind of hard for me but i pulled through in the end. Also we learnt that creative is to do things that are outside of the box like artists that think of ordinary things and draw them to make them look more interesting.

Our Netball With Emma

“Yay” I said to myself. We were learning to play netball. I like this game because it is similar to Basketball but besides the bouncing and stealing the ball. I have many more interests in this game but that is the most important one. The skills I learnt in this game were to play, shoot, defend and pass. Some passes that I learnt were Overhead passes, Chest passes and Bounce passes and I learnt some drills including the Grape vine, Bum kicks and High knees.

I enjoyed this game very much besides not being able to play basketball. It gave me quite the kick. I imagined it would be boring but it turned out to be fun. I had heaps and heaps of laughs out of it and I really would like to play this game again. If Emma came back I would be more interested in playing. I will pay full attention towards the teacher and I won’t talk to my friends.

Finally it was the final game session. This was our time to shine we all had to show Emma what we had learnt. As we heard the piercing tone of the whistle “Over Here” “I’m open” “Over here” “Yaaaaaaaaaaaay” we shouted as Marven shot the goal and got it. It was quite a challenge but as long as we work as a team we will be great. THE END

Pencil

The pencil to this day forward is a very useful tool. It was successfully invented in 1795 by N. C. Conte.This tool goes back to even when cave men existed but they used Stones to carve into walls just as mummy’s did through the Years different things became pencils such as rocks to chalk to paint to the pencil then pen these have gone through the past to the future. These are still useful and will be even more useful in the future.

My goal

My Personal Goals - 2011 Date : 10/2/11

My achievement I was most proud of last year in the classroom was Being able to learn my 7 ,6,8 times table because I never knew how to do it before


The thing I was most proud of last year outside of the classroom was … learning new games and helping the little kids and making sure that they were’nt hurting them selves

In reading my learning goal is to improve my reading and try to get a good reading level

To achieve this goal I need read more so that I can read faster and not skip words sometimes and to read words that I cant read now

In writing I my goal is to learn how to write italic and to write nicely

To achieve this goal I need to write more often and to try to write italic so that I can get better at it


In Maths my goal is to… Learn how to solve problems faster and to make sure that the answers are right and not wrong


The learning area I think I need to improve in most is … Writing

My goal for this year around the classroom is to (behaviour/self management) Be good instead of acting like an idiot.

My goal for this year around the school is to … Show/Set good examples for the people that are around me like the New entrants and years 1,2

My Holiday

‘CRASSSSH’ the waves went as we drove across the side of Ninety Mile Beach, it was 4 years since I had seen it. To me it still looked the same and the smell of seafood and rotten fish made it even better. I almost started crying when I saw the beach. We had been driving for hours, I was sweating like a fat man walking up a flight of stairs. So I was ready to go for a swim, then all of a sudden. “What are you doing?” I shouted to my dad “No, it’s to cold to go for a swim”. As he said that the sun beamed down on my head and made it even hotter “No swimming all holiday what is this” I said to myself it’s nothing but HORROR. How could this possibly be the best holiday ever???

“Naa I want to watch Blues Clues” shouted Irakewa (2nd Youngest Brother) “Naa not that one thats boring” replied my other brother. “Shut both of your mouths” I shouted.
It was about 5am in the morning and I was tired more than you could possibly imagine. Then again, I was woken up by my brothers screaming. But this time it wasn’t me who told them to shut up It was my step sister Maiya-Shey, shes older than me by 1 year. From then they never woke us up again. To me that was adventure 1 there were many adventures left to discover as the holidays progressed.

The holidays passed and I made a couple of friends and enemies. My friends names were Irie, Tristan, Rocky and more. I only made 3 enemies Liam, Karen and Coralle. Even though it wasn’t the best holiday ever it was still fun because I went up north to my dad. I hadn’t seen him in 4 years and I had the adventure of a life time.

Geometry translation

This term in maths we are focusing on geometry. Translation means to move one object from one point to another without Rotating it, resizing it or redrawing it. At the beginning of the task I had no idea at all I didn't even no what geometry
at one point. But now I no what it is even though im still trying to find out what it properly is I have a fair feeling I do!
