My Personal Goals - 2011 Date : 10/2/11

My achievement I was most proud of last year in the classroom was Being able to learn my 7 ,6,8 times table because I never knew how to do it before


The thing I was most proud of last year outside of the classroom was … learning new games and helping the little kids and making sure that they were’nt hurting them selves

In reading my learning goal is to improve my reading and try to get a good reading level

To achieve this goal I need read more so that I can read faster and not skip words sometimes and to read words that I cant read now

In writing I my goal is to learn how to write italic and to write nicely

To achieve this goal I need to write more often and to try to write italic so that I can get better at it


In Maths my goal is to… Learn how to solve problems faster and to make sure that the answers are right and not wrong


The learning area I think I need to improve in most is … Writing

My goal for this year around the classroom is to (behaviour/self management) Be good instead of acting like an idiot.

My goal for this year around the school is to … Show/Set good examples for the people that are around me like the New entrants and years 1,2

My Holiday

‘CRASSSSH’ the waves went as we drove across the side of Ninety Mile Beach, it was 4 years since I had seen it. To me it still looked the same and the smell of seafood and rotten fish made it even better. I almost started crying when I saw the beach. We had been driving for hours, I was sweating like a fat man walking up a flight of stairs. So I was ready to go for a swim, then all of a sudden. “What are you doing?” I shouted to my dad “No, it’s to cold to go for a swim”. As he said that the sun beamed down on my head and made it even hotter “No swimming all holiday what is this” I said to myself it’s nothing but HORROR. How could this possibly be the best holiday ever???

“Naa I want to watch Blues Clues” shouted Irakewa (2nd Youngest Brother) “Naa not that one thats boring” replied my other brother. “Shut both of your mouths” I shouted.
It was about 5am in the morning and I was tired more than you could possibly imagine. Then again, I was woken up by my brothers screaming. But this time it wasn’t me who told them to shut up It was my step sister Maiya-Shey, shes older than me by 1 year. From then they never woke us up again. To me that was adventure 1 there were many adventures left to discover as the holidays progressed.

The holidays passed and I made a couple of friends and enemies. My friends names were Irie, Tristan, Rocky and more. I only made 3 enemies Liam, Karen and Coralle. Even though it wasn’t the best holiday ever it was still fun because I went up north to my dad. I hadn’t seen him in 4 years and I had the adventure of a life time.

Geometry translation

This term in maths we are focusing on geometry. Translation means to move one object from one point to another without Rotating it, resizing it or redrawing it. At the beginning of the task I had no idea at all I didn't even no what geometry
at one point. But now I no what it is even though im still trying to find out what it properly is I have a fair feeling I do!

The Deadly Wind

At 3:00pm on North Shore Albany there was a unexpected Tornado it destroyed houses,cars,buildings and even trampolines. It was a very tragic moment for the people in Albany, It was even sadder when, a man lost his life he was described as a man in his thirties and a Philippine. I feel sad the man family and for there lost and I hope they can get all the help they need.

People described the Tornado as a huge gust of wind that roared through the city it caused chaos to the people who watched as it tore the roof of pak'n'save and destroyed PlaceMakers.It sounded like a jet-engine descending, cars were uplifted and thrown from one side of the city to the other side. It was like a game of twister but you make a wrong move you don't fall over you DIE.

Dear Parents/Caregivers/Teachers

Thank you for everything the great things provided like Food,Protection,Activities and Everything Else.But most of all the Hangi it was beautiful there was nothing to describe it besides Scrumptious and Tasty and the food in between activities. They were all great the coolest thing for me was Rock Up.

Again Thanks to Everyone for all the things provided.If yous weren't there Camp wouldn't be possible. May GOD bless you everywhere you go.

1 Day Of 'TAKE CHARGE' CAMP

14-03-11

First of To start the day was to get ready for our Pt England School Camp. To start it off I wore purple skinnies and a black puma jersey and of course my camp gear. My group name is the Mighty Legendary 'THINKERZ'

Our first activity as a group was with Mr Barks he was doing group challenges in this we had to focus on team work, Concentration and balance those were the aim to winning the game. First we had to start with a pole in a tire and get the tire over the top, Our first time was 2 minutes and 47 seconds and then we had another go and got 22.4s.

The 2nd challenge we had was the Channel Run we had to get water with channels that had holes in the side so it was a tough challenge but that never slowed us down. We huffed and we puffed and we almost gave up but we never.

Then came our 3rd challenge came and we were starting to get exhausted (I don't know about the others but I surely did). This challenge was Top it Up. In this challenge the aim was Balance and Concentration. We had to get a glass of water to the top and back down. The first 2 times the cup had fallen but the third time we had luck it stayed up and then Kaiden got back up and managed to get it back down.

We had continued on with the Channel run after all of it we had managed to get 1cm of water into the bucket and still don't know if we did but to us we still had a good time no matter what it was fun and everyone sure had it. The End (For Now)

Exploring Our Netbooks!!

"Already"I said "We are already getting our net books" today the first day of school. How can this day get any better!!!! When we got our net books the first thing we did when we turned them on was explore and play games but the Internet wasn't working. So we had to play games the first game I played was Tux typing 2. Its a typing game that helps you to type faster The faster you type the more you can do in a short period of time.

Then that's when we got explore time we first went on games and played other games like Solitaire and Mahjongg and others and that was when we found out about Ubuntu Software Center thats where we could donwload Games,Pictures,Web Browsers,Music and much much more. The End
